Available in the following types.
Marine Type III
Battery Brain™
uses unique micro-electronic technology to continually monitor the
battery power. When Battery Brain™ detects power falling below the
level required to start your motor, it automatically isolates the
battery from the electrical system.
Once
easily installed on the boat’s positive
battery terminal, the Battery Brain will monitor the battery power
to detect if the charge is being drained below the level required to
start the engine (e.g. 12.1V).
If this occurs, Battery Brain works by disconnecting
the battery
You can also choose to disconnect the battery using the remote that
comes with the Type III, this provides an anti-theft device when
leaving the vessel as it cannot be started or hot-wired while Battery
Brain is in disconnected mode. From the vessel’s electrical system, preventing further
drainage and preserving enough power to start the engine. Battery
Brain Type III comes with a remote control with an individual frequency,
which activates the unit and reconnects the circuit to enable the
boat to start.
Marine Type IV
Once
easily installed on the boat’s positive
battery terminal, the Battery Brain will monitor the battery power
to detect if the charge is being drained below the level required to
start the engine (e.g. 12.1V).
If this occurs, Battery Brain works by disconnecting
the battery from the vessel’s electrical system, preventing
further drainage and preserving enough charge to start the engine.
Battery Brain Type IV comes with a wired manual switch, which can
be mounted remotely, that activates the unit and reconnects the circuit
to enable the boat to start.
You can also choose to disconnect the battery using the switch, providing
an anti-theft device when leaving the vehicle as it cannot be started
or hot-wired while Battery Brain is in disconnected mode. Type IV is
ideal for commercial or fleet use.
